A weekend immersion in the tranquil subtropical paradise of the Gold Coast hinterland — dive into the mysteries of your inner universe and discover the immense power of the heart.
Most of our attention lives in the head — the "on-board computer" we use to rationalise, deduce and navigate life's twists and turns. But the heart is more than a muscle in the chest; it is the true centre of our inner world, and modern life pulls us away from this most intimate part of ourselves.
Through the authentic teachings of the yoga tradition, and the practice of asanas, meditation and breathing exercises, this retreat guides you on a deep dive into your inner universe — helping you know yourself more profoundly and set in motion lasting inner transformation.
The weekend offers a well-balanced mix of theory and practice with a focus on the experiential side. All practices are accessible to all ages and stages — no previous experience is needed.

Tucked in the Numinbah Valley, just 39km from the Gold Coast, Solitude is a secluded rainforest retreat rich in nurturing energy, bordering the ancient landscapes of Natural Bridge National Park.
Four rustic log chalets sit within the rainforest canopy, and at the heart of the property stands a 98-year-old red cedar farmhouse. A ceremonial labyrinth and Native American medicine wheel offer dedicated spaces for contemplation and ritual.
Spanning around 160 acres along the Nerang River, the grounds feature cascading waterfalls, towering strangler figs, rock pools and abundant native wildlife — a place to slow down and reconnect.
Thoughtful, accessible practices focused more on connection and awareness than pushing yourself physically — I left feeling clearer and more balanced.
